About Kristin
I am the bearer of folk songs and technology alike. I wander among the technologists, sharing tips, tricks, tools and trends and bring them to you. Rather than evangelize the latest product (though I do love my iPhone) or dismiss another, I explore them all and find the tools and strategies that are most effective for you and your business.
I will seek harmony between your online presence, your marketing strategy and your corporate mission.
A little background. I graduated from Georgia Tech in 1992 with degrees in Math and Mechanical Engineering. At some point I realized that the real types of problems I like to solve involve people, not machines. Technology can provides some great solutions for everything from time management to corporate marketing. Too often, however, the technology is the problem. Cumbersome and clunky, fleeting and quickly dated.
In college we had a TV that would get fuzzy and need to be hit on the side every 5 minutes to get the picture back. This is no way to watch The Simpsons. It was frustrating and the enjoyment was diminished because the technology (TV) was not transparent. It interfered with the experience. I can help you avoid letting poorly implemented technology effect your story or your customer’s experience.
I specialize in finding and sharing creative user-centered business solutions. I endeavor to find unique and innovative ways to overcome your specific business challenges.
